The UCLA Center for Cerebral Palsy is dedicated to educating professionals in the current techniques in the assessment and treatment of people with cerebral palsy. Our mission also includes educating consumers on available treatment options for people with cerebral palsy.
In partnership with the Tarjan Center for Developmental Disabilities at UCLA, the Center holds an annual Margaret Jones Conference of Cerebral Palsy. The full day conference has tow components - professional and consumer. The morning session presents state-of-the art research findings and clinical application to all professionasl working with patients with cerebral palsy. In the afternoon, a free Family Forum provides an opportunity for people with cerebral palsy and their families to meet with each other and to hear from professionals on important issues and current medical findings affecting people with cerebral palsy.
